Agriturismi Etna promotes the Agritouristic Farms placed between Etna and the Ionian Sea. It desires to facilitate the offer and demand of agritouristic services, allowing the associated farms to offer what a single farm cannot propose, i.e.: choosing in the same territory the most suitable farm according to your needs, giving informative and popular material about the farms and territory, offering qualified services for the lovers of walking (on foot and by bike) also using the different farms as stopover, promoting the farmhouse for the possible and real guests, improving the local agritouristic offer (quality and quantity of the services and structures), sustaining the local and regional agricultural productions, re-evaluating the resources and rural culture. Other general targets are: creating a stable association (not temporary), enlarging the associative base (more Farm Houses, always in Sicily), showing an integrated offer both for guests and tour operators with a great experience in this field, supplying high technological services and equipment to the users and Associated Farms. The group was born thanks to the involved agritouristic entrepreneurs and the collaboration of “Agriculture and Forest Regional Department”, engaged in the Technical Assistance and Promotion in Agriculture. The farms can be contacted singularly or by the site: Agriturismi Etna identifies the most suitable available structure according to the guests’ requirements. The suggestions, on guest’s request, concern the thematic stays for the cultural, wine-and-food and tourist activities of the period. Moreover, we offer other services such as walking, particularly on foot or by bike, allowing you to know the territory in its more typical aspects, often unknown by the inhabitants. I
